Lord Street Community Nursery School

Welcome to Lord Street Community Nursery School

We are a Local Authority maintained Nursery School with 104 education places on offer to 3 and 4 year olds with further opportunity to provide additional childcare.

We also have 32 places for 2 year olds who are eligible for the 15 hours free education.

As an outward looking, enthusiastic and experienced team we are committed to developing a learning community of children, staff governors and parents working co-operatively to promote inclusion and high achievement for all.

We strive to maintain a happy, stimulating and enjoyable nursery school experience helping children become confident, capable and independent learners so they can achieve their full potential.

We encourage children to be driven by their interest and our role is to nurture and develop this by creating opportunities to stimulate and provoke enquiring minds.
